Dr. Ryan H. Fox is the Director of Choirs at Rogers High School in Rogers, Arkansas, where he oversees a comprehensive choral program, conducts three ensembles, and teachers Advanced Placement Music Theory. Under his direction, the choirs at RHS have received superior ratings in prepared music and sight reading at choral assessment and received Gold ratings, best in class, sweepstakes award, and Outstanding Choral Group at a Heritage Music Festival. Ryan has also taught in the Springdale and Clarksville school districts and served as Director of Choral Activities at Henderson State University and Southwest Minnesota State University.
Ryan is active in the American Choral Directors Association. He is the President of Arkansas ACDA, has served as an R & R Chair for Southwestern ACDA and Arkansas ACDA, has organized ACDA honor choirs at the divisional and state level, and served on a divisional conference planning committee.
Ryan has also been a church musician for over 20 years. He has served in a variety of capacities: organist, chorister, pianist, choral director, and handbell director. Ryan has worked in multiple denominations in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Minnesota.
Ryan is a native of Greenwood, Arkansas. He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from The University of Kansas, as well as the Master of Music in Choral Conducting and the Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Central Arkansas.
